FROM FIRST IDEA TO AN INFORMED ORDER
A clear next step.
At your pace.
Browse without an account. Start with a floor you like, a room you want to change, or a question you need answered. Here’s how to move your project forward with Get Floors.
Request material pricing01 · KNOW WHAT YOU ARE COMPARING
A material price is not an installed-project price.
Our online request starts a conversation about current material pricing. It does not place an order, take payment or reserve stock. Tell us whether you want materials only or help planning an installed project; we’ll clarify the scope with you.
Send what you know.
- Brand, collection and color—or a photo or description if you do not know the exact product.
- Approximate square footage and the rooms involved. Identify stairs separately.
- Pickup or delivery preference, delivery ZIP code and your target timing.
Have several floors in mind? Save them to My project and send a combined pricing request. Rough measurements are welcome; final quantities still need verification.
Compare the complete scope.
Check whether a written quote includes tax, freight, whole-carton or roll quantities, cushion or underlayment, adhesives, transitions and stair details.
For an installed project, also clarify removal, disposal, preparation, moisture-related work, furniture handling and labor. These are questions to resolve—not services or charges automatically included in a material quote.
Why a personal quote? The exact product, quantity, availability and delivery destination affect the answer. A catalog listing is not a stock guarantee, and a square-foot headline does not describe every project cost.
Work out an early quantity estimate →02 · MAKE THE VISIT COUNT
By appointment, with your project in mind.
Our La Mesa showroom currently welcomes visitors by appointment. Share a few preferred dates or times so we can arrange a visit around your project. Your request is not a confirmed booking; wait for our confirmation before making the trip.
Bring a useful starting point.
- Room photos, rough measurements and a few saved floors.
- Cabinet, paint or fabric references you want to coordinate.
- Your budget range, timeline and everyday concerns—pets, spills, sunlight or noise.
- Any HOA requirements, finish schedule or project specifications.
Check before you travel.
Tell us which samples you want to see so we can check availability. Not every product in the online catalog has a physical sample in the showroom.

03 · SEE IT WHERE YOU LIVE
Borrow a sample. Keep the return date clear.
Staff can record your contact details and check out an available showroom sample without making you create an online account. Online self-checkout is a separate, approved permission—not a requirement for staff-assisted borrowing.
Before you leave.
Check the exact sample identity and the recorded due date with staff. Standard website loans start with a seven-day return date. Ask about any deposit, limits or care conditions before borrowing; this page does not set a deposit or fee.
Look at the sample beside your finishes in daytime and evening light. A small sample cannot show every board variation, design repeat or seam in a completed floor.
Need more time?
Contact us before the due date, or use the extension request on an eligible loan in your sample account. An extension is a request, not an automatic renewal. The current due date remains in place until staff approves a change.
On return, ask staff to check the sample back in so the loan record closes. If a sample is damaged or missing, contact us rather than marking it returned.
04 · AGREE ON THE DETAILS
Before an order becomes a commitment.
- Confirm the exact product, color, quantity, accessories and current availability.
- Review the written price, included work, exclusions, payment terms and cancellation or return conditions.
- Confirm pickup or delivery arrangements, unloading needs and the expected lead time. A target date is not a guaranteed arrival date.
- For installation, establish who is responsible for measuring, site preparation, installation and any labor warranty.
- Read the selected manufacturer’s installation, care and warranty documents. Product and workmanship coverage are not interchangeable.
Special-order and opened-material return conditions can differ. Get the terms for your particular order before accepting it; do not assume every item is returnable.
Financing is optional and arranged separately through Acorn Finance and its lenders. Approval or funding does not reserve your flooring or confirm an order.
